Happy Saturday

Here it is Saturday night and I am sitting on the computer in my sweats with my dogs sleeping at my feet. I am one partay animal!

I just got done doing all my “to do” lists not only for myself but for my employees. Yeah, they just love that shit. Writing everything out is a job in itself! I am leaving Monday morning for Cabo and I admit that I am reluctant to go due to all the endeavors I am right smack in the middle of. Geez, life will have to be on hold while I bask in the sunshine and ride a horse along the beach and go snorkeling and surfing. Easier said than done. To make myself feel busy, and less guilty, I have planned excursions for every day we are there. Ryan wants to know if it will even BE a vacation. Oh well, I am a plan-aholic. I like to plan shit, hey, I’m a Virgo. I can’t help it if he is a “fly by the seat of his pants” Sagittarius. I know, match made in heaven!

It is 4.13 on Tuesday which happens to not only be the name of our parent company but our wedding anniversary.

Yes, I will be on a horse on a long stretch of Baja California beach riding alongside my husband that I madly adore even if he hates to plan stuff. I told him horseback riding is what I wanted to do on our anniversary and so it is done. Hee hee. We will be in Cabo with family and friends but the horse ride is just for us. We just don’t go very many places alone, we always plan to be by ourselves but then we open our big mouths and…

Tomorrow I shoot a scene for kellymadison.com before I leave. I must have brand new content for you to go up on the site while I am gone 🙂

I also must tell you that my dog Trey is doing much better. We have been able to decrease his prescription and he has stopped losing weight. He actually gained 1 pound back last week. He is still really weak but all his blood tests have come back OK. I still don’t know what caused his immune system to behave in such a way. He has stopped destroying his own platelets but I am worried that if I stop giving him the Prednisone entirely his symptoms will return. Believe me, the last thing I want to do right now is to leave my dog. If he wasn’t gaining weight and his blood work came back fine I wouldn’t. I am leaving him with my sister who is even a bigger worry wort than I am. She will be staying with him and she knows all his vets and she is the next best thing to me when it comes to caring for my dogs. I love my sister 🙂

OK, don’t hate me but I will probably be running around on Sunday like a chicken with it’s head cut off so I might not get to blog and I may not be able to while I am gone. I will have enough time to post a pic from the shoot on Sunday and to say “hi” but that’s about it. I still have hundreds of photos to go through before I leave at it is 11:00PM right now and I must get up early to shoot and I still haven’t packed. Fuck me. I love being busy, don’t let the complaining I do all the time fool you. I wouldn’t have it any other way. I am blessed that I get to vacation with family and friends this week and I am blessed that our employees, especially our newest one, Marc, are all doing so great. That is it for now, I have to go through these photos and get them ready for Ryan or the marriage ends tomorrow and that can’t happen because I really want to see what he got me for our anniversary. He told me I had to open it before we leave. Actually, I don’t care about gifts. He is always the big gift giver which I am grateful for but I am really simple. He shops at Gucci and I shop at Target. He drives a brand new Cadillac Escalade Hybrid and I drive an old Dodge truck. We are indeed a match made in heaven, though.

I got a phone call to my private residence regarding my opinion and information on Jesse James and Janine Lindemulder. Here is the story on radaronline.com

I also got an invitation to go on “Inside Edition” television show. I had to regretfully decline because I am just not privy to all the details and nor do I think it is in good taste to talk about something in detail that I am not involved in. The phone interview with radaronline.com and Gary from TMZ.com was totally non-invasive and they just wanted my opinion on the situation. I wish Janine all the best and of course the best for Sunny.

Family Drama continues

My cousin Janine Lindemulder has been dealing with IRS, her ex-husband Jesse James and fighting with him and Sandra Bullock over custody of her daughter. Now Jesse has been outed for having an affair with a girl named Michelle McGee. Geez, I feel sorry for Sunny, the daughter. Now it seems Sandra is going to take flight or at least she should. Sunny’s mother is still having to live in a half-way house as part of her judgement. The whole thing is a tragedy. Jesse and Sandra have enough money and they could have helped Janine stay out of prison since she is the mother of his child. I hate when parents hate each other more than they love their child. Now this mess. Jesse is in a tough one. I guess he didn’t want the girl next door look any longer and was longing for the tatted hot chick look again. Notice the similarities? I wish them all luck with this mess and most of all, my heart goes out to that innocent little girl.

I’m back home and I’m getting ready for New Year!

I was away for Christmas with family so I was unable to blog at ya. I hope your holidays were fun. I got everything I wanted and more. Everyone in my family is healthy and we all survived this past year with the bad economy and I am looking forward to good times ahead. We spent time with Ryan’s grandparents and hooking up their new wii and playing tennis and bowling with them. It was a blast. Old people are fun, what can I say. I also went to the movies with the fam and saw Avatar in 3D and on the Imax screen. We waited in line for 2 hours and had perfect seats. We switched off every 15 minutes while eating and drinking at Islands restaurant. The system worked out well. It was all worth it. My goodness that was a great movie. I never knew blue people could turn me on so much:)

8 years today since I pulled the plug

It has been 8 years today since I had to say goodbye to my Mother. I was her caretaker, I was her best friend, I was her daughter, I was her mother, I was her nurse, her doctor, her best friend, her everything. She was everything to me. She always believed in me no matter what. She always loved me unconditionally. She was my best audience. My biggest fan, and my biggest supporter of doing my site. I found her in a coma on August 6th of 2001. I had to finally let her go after a week of doing numerous tests to make sure she wouldn’t come back to me before I let her go. I put my special bracelette on her wrist, I played her favorite song, Romanza by Andrea Bocelli on my boom box right there in the hospital room and I sat beside her in the hospital bed and held her until she passed. I still miss her intensely. Sometimes I feel abnormally sorrowful. I still want to pick up the phone anytime anything happens in my life to share it with her but the number is gone and so is she. We were so close. I have never really had a best friend. I had my Mom, I have Ryan and I have my sister. I keep to myself most of the time. I love the people that work with me, they are my dear friends and I share most things with them. But I shared everything with my Mom. I feel like I am saying goodbye all over again. Can someone tell me when it stops hurting so bad?

I got my doggies all excited this morning. I told them that Kip was coming over to visit. They started wagging their tails and hopping around. Not only is Kip coming over but he is bringing along my hairdresser Pauline aka Leon Diaz. Yes, Miss Diaz is the best hairdresser on the planet. She is coming over to put in some extensions so it will be an afternoon of wine, hairstyling and gossip. Can’t wait! Oh yeah, and their guncle (gay uncle) Kip will probably take the doggies for a walk. He’s so good with them 🙂

New gang in town

Yep, we have a new branch of criminals in our neighborhood. They like to burrow holes in the ground and destroy drip systems and now they have crossed the line. Kip’s new BMW 535 has been attacked. They have chewed through his wiring and cost him $650 in damages. In their defense he did park right next to one of their burrows so he was sort of asking for it but whatever. I called the County Agriculture department and we have had to take matters into our own hands. The county provided us with deadly oatmeal to feed to these feisty critters. They had the nerve to invade our 413 Compound and now they will pay the price with their lives. I don’t want to kill the little guys but I have no choice. They look pretty tough, they may not go down so easy…

“Hi Honey, I’m home”

I just got back from Vegas. It took me only 3 hours to drive home but it took me 10 hours to get in the car to leave. I was supposed to leave this morning at 9:00 AM but I just couldn’t go. I didn’t want to leave my sister. I had so much fun in Vegas with her. We went out a few times and gambled. Wow, I won $125 for first night there and for me, that is huge! I got the gambling bug so went back out on Monday night and tried my luck again. To no avail, I lost miserably and the only thing that made up for it was free beer. Well, I lost 60 bucks, hey, that is a big loss for me. I could have bought a pair of shoes with $60, hell, I could have bought 7 pairs of shoes at the 3 for $25 Shoe Store. I don’t have any photos to show you since my stupid iphone kept dying on me. I have the first generation and something is wrong with mine. It doesn’t hold a charge for shit. I am buying the new one this week so that wherever I go I can take some pics and share them with you. I am going to bed now. Glad to be home!
