I feel like it has been so long since I have checked in with you and it has. I was supposed to write on Sunday after I got back from dog beach but I was delayed. I drove down to Huntington Beach with both dogs ready to take on the sand and surf. I stopped at the grocery store to get some cold water and noticed a cute botique with some very sexy dresses hanging in the window. I decided to run in really quick since it was cool out and I had all the windows down. I tried on one stupid dress and bam – my neck went out. It was in spasm and I couldn’t even stand up. I sat in the dressing room for a good 20 minutes trying to figure out how I was going to get dressed. I finally got my shorts and shirt on and I had the girl that worked there get my purse for me since bending over just wasn’t an option. I walked out painfully and slowly to my truck. I sat in the parking lot for almost 4 hours. I had no cellphone on me, my bad, and I couldn’t move. Every time I barely moved my arms my neck would start hurting even more. Geez, I was in a bad predicament. Oh, did I mention Ryan was in Catalina scuba diving? His boat wasn’t coming in until 7:00PM and this neck thing started at 4:00PM. Some really nice women helped me and let me use their phone to call him. Of course he didn’t have his phone on him, it was in his bag and the boat was loud. I had another gentleman call the police for me since I pay so much in taxes I figure I couldn at least have them call everyone I know until I get someone. No, the cop doesn’t come, a huge firetruck and ambulance come instead. What is that going to cost me? They were totally lame. I asked them to get my dogs out since it was 7:30 PM and they hadn’t gone to the bathroom for a long time. They couldn’t even do that right. Neither dogs would go to them and my large dog, Trey, came over and sat on my lap. That hurt my neck even more. They were also trying to get my blood pressure while all this is happening. Idiots. I told them to shut the doors and leave my dogs be. There was also a guy in the middle of the confusion trying to get all my information so they can bill me. Not one of them did anything to help me. I wanted my dogs given water and taken to the bathroom and maybe an icepack and to use a cell phone. They didn’t even have a phone out of 20 guys that I could use. With all that said, my husband showed up at 8:00PM and took us all home. I learned a very good lesson not to leave my house without my phone, that’s for sure.

My neck is better after being stuck in bed all day yesterday. I have typed way too much so I am going to lay back down now. So is this the kind of body issues that happen once you turn 40 🙁 ???
