BTS for the month of August goes up today on my site. There are lots of photos from my trip to June Lake that I told you about. I have to say looking back it was the highlight of my month if not the entire year so far. I love, love, love going to the mountains. I love packing up our shit and loading up the dogs and going on a road trip. I love the fresh air and the scenery and getting away from the Southern Californian heat. I love hiking, I love fishing, and on this trip, I especially liked hike fucking. In fact, this week’s episode is called just that. We decided to get it on it the woods and we turned on our little camera and shot a quick video. Nothing like a woodsy quicky with some hard wood and a wet pussy 🙂

I got some more photos from that photo hoarding husband of mine. Ryan and I went to the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas to swim with the dolphins. We were supposed to spend 3 hours doing what they call a “deep water swim” with them but a storm came in and there was lightning so we had to get out of the water but someday soon I am going back to the Bahamas to swim with those cute dolphins. Our dolphin is named Michelle and she was quite the show off, I felt we had a lot in common 🙂

Yep, I rode a gator. My husband had me sit on an alligator on our trip. While in Fort Lauderdale after getting off our cruise ship we decided to check out the sights and head out to the Everglades and see the gators in their wild habitat. The air boat we were on was so fun. We were lucky to see several gators that day as well as the indigenous birds and flora. It was pouring down rain but it made the whole adventure more exciting. At the end of the airboat ride we were treated to an alligator show where they had several rescue gators. At the end of the show the gentleman asked who would want to sit on one. My husband promptly raised his hand and said “she would!” and pointed over at me. I was the lucky one in the group to go inside the gator pen with all the alligators surrounding me as I sat down on one. Great day to wear open toed shoes!!!

The cruise was beyond fun. We went snorkeling, sailing on a catamaran, shopping, eating jerk chicken and drinking Red Sripe beer and listening to Reggae music (which my husband plays non-stop at home so that wasn’t very unique) and lounging on the most beautiful beaches that I have ever seen. I love the adventure of sailing into a new port and getting out and exploring the different islands of the Caribbean. We were able to visit the Atlantis Resort while in the Bahamas. The gigantic fish aquarium was a sight to see. I loved that you could go into the building and watch the fish under the water and then go above and walk around and look down into the pools as well. There were huge mana rays that were just awesome to look at.

While on the cruise ship the most fun was the “Flow Rider”. It simulates waves in the ocean so you can boogie board or surf. I was the brave one and did it first. I would have done it more but the lines were so long that I was getting sunburned waiting. Seems as though all I have though are photos of Ryan on the “Flow Rider”, hmm, suspicious…

I was exhausted in the airport coming home. Our flight on Virgin was so great going from LA to Florida but our return flight was delayed and I just wanted to curl into a ball and sleep right there at the airport. We made it home around midnight and then drove to our house and arrived around 3:00 AM which East Coast time was more like 6:00 AM.

I am glad to be home and my dogs all did well while we were gone, especially Trey. He’s a new man, oh, I mean new dog. I say he’s got a good 2 years left in him now. I have had a busy week since returning and just now I finally got the photos from my husband. He is a photo hoarder. He takes the photos and then I only get to see them once they have gone up on my site in the Behind the Scenes section. I grabbed a few from him today but there will be lots more the first of November on kellymadison.com.
