I’m at home with my hair all dredded out and in a robe at my computer with my throat still throbbing with pain and I was looking through my iphotos and I completely forgot to post this. Check me out, I’m the goose whisperer!
This was from my visit to my father’s grave back in March. I think I already told you about me feeding them Ritz crackers that day. They really liked them. The dogs weren’t too keen on me petting the geese. They got a bit jealous. I wonder how they are going to respond to my new horse. Yep, my darling husband for our anniversary is giving me the gift of my very own horse. I have wanted one since I was 2 years old. 40 years later my dream will come true. I am going to board the horse very close to my home so that I can visit it often. The only stipulation is that I can’t let the horse sleep in bed with us!

Fuck me, I am so sick of being sick. It started with my dog, he got dangerously ill then I got stressed out and got a really bad cold that went to my chest which is scary cuz you’ve seen how big my chest is. Then I started to feel better for like a day and then I fell in the shower and threw my lower back out. Then Trey gets better and my back feels better for almost one day and then my neck goes out. Meanwhile I have been having intestinal trouble. Two days ago I have come down with something that is attacking my throat. Oh well, no blow jobs for Ryan! But seriously, April has sucked ass health wise for me. I am now drinking these vegetable smoothies instead of Light beer, taking shots of Echinacia drops under my tongue instead of Tequila, and doing what I call “poop lab” at home and taking in loads of samples to my doctor, no pun intended. OK, more information than you ever needed to know but gosh I feel shitty. My dog is now doing great and we are going for walks but I am the one that is lagging. I have today and tomorrow to feel better and then I have 2 days of shooting for kellymadison.com to do. That puts me in a good mood and hopefully thoughts are things and I will be feeling fine by Saturday afternoon. We’ll see, if not, next week’s update might just be Ryan and Kip filming my dogs playing in the yard 🙂
Weekend Shenanigans
Monday, April 26th, 2010OMG, what a crazy couple of days. Saturday I shot with the lovely Tanya Tate and we were dressed up as business women, you know, we were ready for our business women’s luncheon, and we were doing the “pick up” for the pornfidelity.com shoot when all of a sudden an opportunity arrived which enabled us to shoot all the beginning scenes in a really nice office building. We had fun making out in the elevator together and in the men’s bathroom, thank god it was clean!
Then we shot for kellymadison.com and I did a little diddy for Cinco de Mayo. It goes up on the 4th but here’s a peak. WTF, right?
We topped off the weekend with a run to the Sushi restaurant and a good long dog walk at the park. It was a busy weekend but I always feel good when we get a lot of stuff done.

I really enjoyed my trip. I wish I was still there. Ah, the beautiful sunsets, the cold margaritas, the spicy salsa and my pet cat! Yep, here is a photo of my not so gordo gato. She was skinny and hungry so I fed her. Ryan told me I couldn’t take her home. Oh well, I have this photo and my memories to cuddle up to at night.
Oh yeah, and the damn horse ride never happened. My lower back was killing me so instead Ryan and his buddy Greg switched the romantic horse ride on the beach for 2 for ATV riding on the beach, a far more masculine activity for a couple of guys to do together 🙂

Oh please check out the free video clip of my newest update. It is called “Leave it to Kelly” and I am really proud of my team for all their efforts. I love the way Marc edited it, and Tim did a great job on the photos and of course Kip was make-up marvelous and Pauline was perfectly excellent with the curlers in my hair. Kip did a great job filming and the entire scene was fun to do. My back was out and so I had to bear with the pain but the set and the outfit was just to fun not to do. I could always cry later…
Trey turns Ten!

My little doggie turns ten years old today. He made it triumphantly through this last illness and I am expecting 3 more years out of this guy. It is nice to be back at home with my dogs. My sister took excellent care of my dogs and Kip did his share of dog walking as well. Poor Cathy had the shittiest job of all while I was gone. Trey’s medication made him have the runs and for the first time in almost 10 years Trey pooped in the house, in eleven different places to be exact! Yeah, she got the shitty job of cleaning up after him. Oh well, the carpets are clean now he is healthy and I love him so he gets a big piece of salmon with a candle on it for his birthday 🙂

I used sunscreen the entire time and I spary tanned before I left so I landed in Cabo tan as fuck and I came back arriving in LA white as a ghost. Getting old is shitty. Now I have to wear hats, sunscreen and long sleeved shirts. Hey, if I wasn’t in front of the camera I wouldn’t care as much but big ugly sunspots just aren’t sexy. Saturday, April 10th, 2010Here it is Saturday night and I am sitting on the computer in my sweats with my dogs sleeping at my feet. I am one partay animal!
I just got done doing all my “to do” lists not only for myself but for my employees. Yeah, they just love that shit. Writing everything out is a job in itself! I am leaving Monday morning for Cabo and I admit that I am reluctant to go due to all the endeavors I am right smack in the middle of. Geez, life will have to be on hold while I bask in the sunshine and ride a horse along the beach and go snorkeling and surfing. Easier said than done. To make myself feel busy, and less guilty, I have planned excursions for every day we are there. Ryan wants to know if it will even BE a vacation. Oh well, I am a plan-aholic. I like to plan shit, hey, I’m a Virgo. I can’t help it if he is a “fly by the seat of his pants” Sagittarius. I know, match made in heaven!
It is 4.13 on Tuesday which happens to not only be the name of our parent company but our wedding anniversary.
Yes, I will be on a horse on a long stretch of Baja California beach riding alongside my husband that I madly adore even if he hates to plan stuff. I told him horseback riding is what I wanted to do on our anniversary and so it is done. Hee hee. We will be in Cabo with family and friends but the horse ride is just for us. We just don’t go very many places alone, we always plan to be by ourselves but then we open our big mouths and…

I also must tell you that my dog Trey is doing much better. We have been able to decrease his prescription and he has stopped losing weight. He actually gained 1 pound back last week. He is still really weak but all his blood tests have come back OK. I still don’t know what caused his immune system to behave in such a way. He has stopped destroying his own platelets but I am worried that if I stop giving him the Prednisone entirely his symptoms will return. Believe me, the last thing I want to do right now is to leave my dog. If he wasn’t gaining weight and his blood work came back fine I wouldn’t. I am leaving him with my sister who is even a bigger worry wort than I am. She will be staying with him and she knows all his vets and she is the next best thing to me when it comes to caring for my dogs. I love my sister 🙂
OK, don’t hate me but I will probably be running around on Sunday like a chicken with it’s head cut off so I might not get to blog and I may not be able to while I am gone. I will have enough time to post a pic from the shoot on Sunday and to say “hi” but that’s about it. I still have hundreds of photos to go through before I leave at it is 11:00PM right now and I must get up early to shoot and I still haven’t packed. Fuck me. I love being busy, don’t let the complaining I do all the time fool you. I wouldn’t have it any other way. I am blessed that I get to vacation with family and friends this week and I am blessed that our employees, especially our newest one, Marc, are all doing so great. That is it for now, I have to go through these photos and get them ready for Ryan or the marriage ends tomorrow and that can’t happen because I really want to see what he got me for our anniversary. He told me I had to open it before we leave. Actually, I don’t care about gifts. He is always the big gift giver which I am grateful for but I am really simple. He shops at Gucci and I shop at Target. He drives a brand new Cadillac Escalade Hybrid and I drive an old Dodge truck. We are indeed a match made in heaven, though.
