I am still shocked and overwhelmed at all the hard work my husband put into throwing me my 40th Birthday party. Oh my. I don’t know how he did it all especially since I have been bitching at him for months now and wondering where he was or what he was doing. I thought he was doing his scuba stuff this whole time and I was quite jealous. See, you can never judge, not even the people you are closest to. Hopefully I have become wiser with age. We’ll see how well I do in the next year 🙂

Sunday, August 26th, 2007I did it. I fasted and it was great. Much easier than I had ever expected. I lost 5 lbs but Ryan lost 11lbs! Not that he even needed to lose a single pound. He’s gained back 6 lbs just this week and I have managed to lose a bit more so I am feeling good. I needed to do something to feel young and healthy since today is the big 40.
Ryan was amazing as usual. He totally surprised me on Friday. We did a hardcore scene for the site and then all of my employees just left or went home early and no one seemed to care about my birthday. Ryan told me to be ready to leave the house by 2:00 PM. I had no idea where we were going. He drove us down to Newport Beach and we checked into the Balboa Bay Club. It was a pefect day and we sat outside and had a drink while waiting to go up to our room. We changed for dinner and Ryan kept rushing me. We sat outside again and looked out over the harbour. We ordered caviar, raw oysters and dover sole. It was lovely. We then took a walk and came upon a gondola. Ryan told me to hop in. Yet another surprise. The gondola traveled around and then stopped dead in the water. We sat there and then I started to laugh because I hd no clue as to why were simply parked in the middle of the harbour. I looked over to my right where there was a huge yaght traveling way too close to us. I thought it might hit us and then I saw a bunch of people on deck yelling my name. Holy shit, it was my family and friends there for my party. I climbed aboard and started crying of course. I don’t know how he did it. There were over 60 people. Aunts and Uncles, cousins, sisters, all of our employees, friends and loved ones. I danced, partied and I had the best time of my life.
Off to Fast
Friday, August 17th, 2007Yes, I am off to go and fast and detox in Palm Springs. Yipee! Ryan and I are going to be on a liquid diet for 3 days. We’ve been only eating fruits and vegetables for 4 days now. I feel a lot more closer to my Guinea pig since we have had the same diet all week. I hope I feel better after all of this. I did cheat and swallow down some advils last night. Having no caffiiene is killing me. I just want to go to Starbucks!
No Fair but won the auction fairly
Monday, August 13th, 2007Sadly to say I didn’t get to go the Orange County Fair last Friday to see the baby pigs. I did attend traffic school on Saturday and I ran into a guy that I went to high school with. He was the one teaching the class. Pretty ironic when you think we both took the same driving class in school and here I am a traffic violator and he a traffic school teacher now. Oh well, I guess I just refuse to grow up.
Sunday was the big auction and I won the auction for the antique desk. I got it for a great price and it is huge. I could have a foursome on that damn thing. I love it and I now have a giant desk to write to you all on 🙂
Carmella was fabulous. She shot with us on Tuesday and Wednesday. She is a blast as always. She is my favorite girl to shoot. We hired her to sign for us at AVN last year and all the fans loved her. She is getting so popular. I was happy that she worked with us for a few days. You are going to love her sexy solo. It is so big I have to break it up into 2 weeks. It is good and long and hot and oh, just see it for yourself. It will post next week.
After such a big weekend and shooting last week I tried to relax this past weekend. Hey, I said I tried. Instead I put up all new drapery in my bedroom and cleaned house and played with my dogs. I also went to dinner with the in-laws which is always a good time. I had my last real meal last night. Today I begin my pre-fasting which includes fruit, vegetables and water. I was fairly good today but I did have some vegetable chips and coffee and a diet coke. I am not supposed to have any caffeine but that is going to be a tough one for me. Hopefully I can do better later this week. I check into the detox spa on Friday. I have only myself to blame since I am the one that booked a weekend health spa. Ryan is being a great sport and is doing the pre-fasting with me. Already he is doing better at it than I am. Ooh that makes me so mad!
Whirlwind Weekend
Friday, August 3rd, 2007The weekend is here and I have a million things planned. I get to go to exciting traffic school all day Saturday. Lucky me. I wasn’t even driving that fast and no, wearing a low cut shirt these days doesn’t get you off of receiving a speeding ticket. It used to work all the time. Then of course, I used to be a lot younger! Speaking of age, it is the month of August which means I’ll be turning 40 this month. I can’t beleive I am that old. Geez, where does time go? I feel good and after I go to my weekend retreat in Palm Springs in a few weeks where I get to fast and detox for 3 days I hope I look even gooder, is that word? The spa does massages and colonics so Ryan and I are going to be squeaky clean after those 3 days are over. In fact, we have to start fasting 4 days prior to going. The good thing is that it will be very healthy for us and Palm Springs is so hot this time of year that I won’t even feel like eating.
I have every day in August planned. I like having things organized and as much as I bitch, I truly love staying busy. Sunday I am attending an auction. I am looking to purchase some new office furniture and I am hoping to get a good price. The auction should be exciting and they have tons of furniture and art and even some antique motorcycles that I am dreading that Ryan will bid on.
After this weekend I get to shoot with one of my favorites and I know she’s your favorite girl. Yes, Carmella Bing will be at my house. I get 2 full days with that full figured girl. I can’t wait to tell you all about it. I promise to check back in on Thursday and give you all the nasty details.
I have to go now because it is Friday night and I just got back from the gym and I really want to go to the fair. Ryan wants to play tennis but the fair sounds like way more fun. I heard they have the cutest baby pigs and who can resist a cute little porker?
