I can’t believe it has been 5 years already. The news and the specials on tv were so depressing. I felt a national duty to watch as if somehow I was paying my respects by watching these programs. So many people were hurt or killed. It was beyond sad to see so many innocent people have their lives taken away or destroyed by people they didn’t even know. To those of you out there that survived the tragedy or sufferred the loss of a loved one, my heart goes out to you. There were so many cases of bravery and national pride that evolved out of the bad. I wish we had that same pride and spirit today. I remember everyone with their American flags and a sense of patriotism that I had never experienced before. Upon reflection of all the damage and pain It is difficult not to hate the people responsible but it seems hate just breeds more hate. I think those angry guys in Al-qaeda need to get laid more 🙂
They need a good dose of kellymadison.com too so that they don’t take life so seriously. Relax, suck on a titty and quit trying to kill all the infidels, we aren’t that bad. We are a whole lot more fun than you think!
All kidding aside, it was a good day to reflect on what is important and to remember to not take life or our freedoms for granted. I’m not willing to hand over my civil rights to the government but I’ll agree to take my liquids out of my overnight bag.

On Labor day I have been honoring the holiday by doing a bunch of labor. I’ve cleaned house, I cleaned cages, I finished laundry and now I am done for the day. I am going to put together a gift basket and head over to the ceiling fan store and then go down to San Diego to see my niece. I was supposed to see her yesterday but our days got mixed up. I have to get to Huntington Beach before 3:00 PM to check out some ceiling fans and then head on down to San Diego and hit the dog beach before she gets off work at 5:00 PM. I am going to take the little weasel to dinner and give her the basket. I’m sure traffic is not going to be fun but I’ve gotta do what I gotta do.

Yes, I am now a year older not wiser but hopefully better. I am now 39. I feel the same but I have been at home for the last 2 days recovering from Vegas. We drove home that Saturday on my birthday. I was exhausted. Ryan had a day at the spa planned for me and I was even too tired for that. We ended up going home and taking a nap. After feeling a bit more rested we headed down to Laguna Beach for the Sawdust Festival. It was a nice casual evening and to me, a perfect way to spend a birthday.
Ryan’s parents took us out on Sunday and again, had a blast. I was able to spend some quality time with his family as well for my birthday.
Now I am home with a bit of a head cold but at least I feel loved. I had a lot of family and friends spending time with me and that always means the most. I also came home to happy and healthy pets so that was a blessing as well.

I wanted to wish you a happy 5th since I wasn’t able to wish you a happy 4th. I hope your holiday was as enjoyable as mine. I spent it wih Ryan and my niece, Amanda. We went over to Ryan’s parents for our annual party. I think I drank one too many Coronas because I am a little bit off today. The weekend went great and shooting with Nikki was delightful. She is very sweet and a really good sport. She walked into a beauty salon and pretended to be a customer only to then walk right back out so that I could pretend to pick her up right outside. It’s been a week already? I swear this year is flying by. It will be St. Patrick’s Day soon. I’ll have a little something festive for you on that day, I promise. Yesterday I relaxed. Ryan wasn’t feeling well so we re-scheduled a photo shoot. Today he is much better but I had a hell of a time getting him off my computer. He’s been on it since 6:00 am working on kellyfind.com. I tell you, the entire company puts a lot of effort into that free site. I wanted to get on my computer to catch up on e-mails and to write in my diary so I lured him off with food.
Today I am cleaning house and doing e-mails. I think we are going to dinner tonight. I don’t really feel like getting dressed and putting on make-up today. It’s cold and raining and it is a great day to stay at home in pajamas. Tomorrow we are shooting the scene for St. Patrick’s Day. Last year was hysterical. Ryan dressed up as a leprachaun and we fucked outside on the green grass. We shot the video not far from my home and with all the rain we had last year the hills looked like they belonged in Ireland. I need to decide today what we will do tomorrow but it’s going to be hard to top last year’s. I am going to La Jolla on Tuesday and then to my Father’s grave in Riverside. His birthday was on the 14th. It is going to be a long day for me but I enjoy going to my Father’s grave. I do it every year.
Now the dryer is beeping at me as if it were a starving baby. I like all my new appliances we have here at our new home but they make a lot of noise. Either the alarm is beeping when a door or window anywhere in the house is opened or the frig beeps, the dog barks, the bird squeals for food and now my new guinea pig learned how to whistle when it wants a treat. It’s Superbowl! In this house it might as well be a religious holiday. There is a strict protocol we must follow. We must have on our football attire and be ready to leave several hours prior to kick off. We are going to the annual Superbowl party that Ryan’s parents have. It will be a lot of fun. Happy New Year to Everyone! I got to celebrate the New Year with my favorite people, the 413 crew. We all went over to my office manager’s home. She had a DJ, great food and the drinks kept coming.
