I broke down and got another pet. I couldn’t help myself, my little parakeet was so lonely so I got him a little friend, a baby blue parakeet. Well, it turns out the little friend is being a little pain in the ass. The baby bird is totally bothering the older bird. It is escaping from the cage and now appears to be sick. I spent 2 hours at the vet this morning and the vet doesn’t think he’s sick since he is so active but we put him on medication just to be safe. There you go, my $14.99 bird just cost me $75.00 at the vet today.
I am a bit worried about the little guy since I am leaving in about a half hour for the mountains. I am taking my dog on a specail vacation just for him. He can run and play and swim in the lakes. I have several trips planned that I need to take this year so I figured I would give the dog a trip of his own. I had better go and finish packing since Ryan is waiting on me. I’ll take lots of pictures and maybe a video or two while I’m gone.
