Tomorrow is my 41st birthday. Shit, I’m Old! OK, maybe not ancient but I can’t believe I am over 40 now. I feel great, my life is great, my business and employees are such a pleasure to me. Just today I was reminded how life can get away from you so quickly and I am so thankful for what I have. A dear friend was injured today and he is so young and healthy and now I wish him a speedy recovery.
I don’t have much time to enjoy the birthday. I am busy cleaning and packing and getting ready to be gone for 7 days. I have a birthday lunch at noon and then I am going to the Angel Baseball game at night. I am heading to Vegas early Wednesday morning to go shoot with Anton from Gent magazine. Then I spend a day with my sis and then off to Mammoth with my husband and my dog, Trey. We will spend Labor Day weekend up there and drive home early Tuesday morning.
I have so much work to do and fan e-mails to reply to and I just need another me. That is what I want for my birthday, another Kelly. Now I know my husband would have a heart atttack with 2 Kelly’s in the house but he would die with a smile on his face 🙂
I returned yesterday from Morongo Casino in Desert Springs. It is a really nice Indian Casino near Palm Springs. I didn’t win any money but I had a great time. We stayed in a great suite, had a wonderful meal and danced the night away. I got a little crazy and shook my booty way to much and my neck is killing me. I shouldn’t try to do that 80’s headbanger move anymore. Now I really do feel my age!
